Power Abuse & Sexism in Academia

As part of Postdoc Appreciation Week 2023 (September 18-22, 2023), Prof. Daniel Leising (TU Dresden & MaWi) and Dr. Cécile Deprez (DLR -German Aerospace Center) will talk about “Power Abuse & Sexism in Academia”. In this event you will learn about the current ethical culture in academia and the various forms of sexism, and have the opportunity to discuss with both speakers which hands-on strategies can be pursued to deal with such difficult situations. There will also be plenty of time for Q&A.

The event will take place on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in a hybrid setting (online and live from the Large Lecture Hall, T-Building, MPI of Biochemistry, in Martinsried), and is open to anyone interested!
