Fourth nanocourse of the IMPRS-BAC. Practical aspects of quantitative light microscopy and what it can do for your research.

In this full-day course, members and guests of the microscopy facility will give an introduction to quantitative Imaging and how users and service groups can benefit from each other. Following an introduction the course covers: sample preparation, the most important parameters of light microscopy, the image itself, as well as an introduction into software solutions and strategies to extract biological relevant information. Individual questions as well as your specific analysis question will be addressed (please provide the data/question in advance). This active engagement with the topic will improve your understanding of the field and encourage you to get the most out of this amazing resource.
