The institute is equipped with a small service kitchen to support events. Our dedicated Service Kitchen Assistant provides services such as preparing hot and cold drinks and light refreshments for smaller events, including the Dahlem Colloquia and Institute Seminars. For events that include lunch, food is not prepared by the kitchen but is ordered from external suppliers. For large events requiring extensive catering, the service kitchen is operated by external caterers. Basic catering services are also provided when seminar rooms are used by external Max Planck groups.
