New faculty members from 2025

Three new faculty members – Katharina Baum (FU-MCS), Katharina Jahn (FU-MCS) and Gerhard Wolber (FU-BCP) – will join the IMPRS-BAC in 2025. Katharina Baum is an expert in the field of AI and its application in the molecular life sciences. Katharina Jahn develops computational and statistical methods for the analysis, integration and interpretation of high-throughput single-cell sequencing data. Gerhard Wolber works on computer-aided drug design using modern machine learning methods.
