13:00 - 13:30: Gopika Sasikumar (Doctoral candidate in the Wahl lab, Freie Universität Berlin), Allosteric small-molecule probes to study splicing switches via conformational control of a spliceosomal RNA helicase
13:30 - 14:00: Philine Guckelberger (Doctoral candidate in the Meissner lab, MPIMG), Cohesin-mediated 3D contacts tune enhancer-promoter regulation
14:00 - 15:00: Dr. Zachary Smith (New Research Group Leader, MPIMG), Decoding the developmental genome with single cell technologies

Participation is mandatory for all IMPRS doctoral candidates!

Every few months, IMPRS Colloquia are held, at which two or three doctoral students present their doctoral work. Another presentation is given by an invited guest. Each doctoral student will present at one of these colloquia near the end of her/his time at the IMPRS-BAC, providing a near-finished story of their research activities to date.
