We are part of the new Collaborative Research Centre 1678 (SFB 1678) "Systemic Consequences of Fidelity Changes in mRNA and Protein Biosynthesis". Here we are investigating factors and pathways that control mRNA homeostasis under cellular stress conditions. Our paper on the specific roles of the BET family protein BRD4 in widespread enhancer and target gene transcription is published. The paper also includes a high-sensitive NET-seq approach for more complete RNA-polymerase profiling in mammalian cells. The article is online now.
