Curriculum Vitae

Nina received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Molecular and Applied Biotechnology from RWTH Aachen University with a focus on medical biotechnology. During her undergraduate studies, she spent two semesters at the University of Waterloo where she completed her Bachelor thesis in the Lolle lab, studying epigenetic markers in Arabidopsis. In 2016, she joined the Meissner Lab at Harvard University as an intern. After another internship at Bayer Business Consulting, Nina returned to the Meissner Lab in 2017 to complete her Master thesis on DNA maintenance methylation. Now as a PhD student, she’s continuing to investigate the molecular mechanisms of DNMT1 recruitment.
