Vladyslav S. Bondarenko: Modeling the Human Fetal-Maternal Interface In Vitro

Stem cell–derived embryo models and organoids provide powerful tools to model human development in vitro, yet integrating them to study fetal-maternal interactions remains a major challenge. In his talk, Vlad will discuss how he applies bioengineering approaches to the human endometrial and placental trophoblast organoids to model human fetal-maternal interface corresponding to the first trimester of pregnancy and study placental-endometrial interactions in vitro.
