Curriculum Vitae

Jennifer received her B.Sc. in 2000 from the University of Texas at Dallas in Molecular and Cellular Biology and has worked in science laboratories since graduating.  She first worked at UT Southwestern in Dr. Mark Henkemeyer’s lab in Dallas, Texas as a research technician and later became the lab manager. Jennifer also worked at Baylor Institute for Immunology Research as the Luminex Core Manager.  She then relocated to Boston, Massachusetts in 2006 to work for Dr. Chad Cowan’s laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital which was first remotely funded by Stowers Medical Institute in order to research human embryonic stem cells in the area of adipogenesis.  In 2010, Jennifer helped facilitate moving the lab to Harvard University.  Jennifer also worked part time at the biotech company Crispr Therapeutics in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  In the summer of 2017, Jennifer transitioned into Alex Meissner’s lab at Harvard before relocating to Berlin, Germany to manage the Dept. of Genome Regulation at Max Planck.  When not working, Jennifer enjoys movies, cooking, travel, and photography.
