Main Focus

My main interest lies in the mechanisms allowing cells to differentially regulate their gene expression. In my projects I focus on gene regulation on the transcriptional level, e.g. how do enhancers interact with promoters, and how can we detect enhancers throughout the genome based on features such as chromatin marks.
