Deep Learning for the Molecular Sciences
Prof. Dr. Frank Noé
We are always looking for highly motivated PhD students to work on exciting projects concerning artificial intelligence in the sciences.
The Noe group (AI4Science) is developing Deep Learning methods for the molecular sciences. Examples include Machine-learning coarse-grained molecular dynamics, Deep Learning methods combining protein sequence and structure for designing protein-inhibitors, Machine Learning methods for integrating experimental and simulation data, as well as Machine Learning methods to efficiently compute quantum-mechanical properties of molecules. A variety of IMPRS projects are possible along these lines.
