Our group consists of an interdisciplinary team with expertises in biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics and medicine. We analyze the process of gene transcription, its regulation and phenotypic consequence in higher eukaryotes. The heart, cardiac and skeletal muscle cells represent our model systems employing animal models, patient material and cell culture.
